My next book is CURSE OF BRINK'S-MAT, which is being published by Quercus in the spring of 2012. There has been a lot of TV interest in the project as it is a revealing look at the bloody aftermath of the most lucrative robbery of the last century.

My recently published childhood memoir CAR TROUBLE was a departure from my usual work and it is linked to my obsession with cars. My old mate Piers Morgan kindly provided a cracking quote for the front cover and it received extensive coverage in the UK national press. Other recent books including GANG WARS OF LONDON and my crime novel ONE BEHIND THE EAR. Both have been steady sellers in recent months.

VANESSA: PORTRAIT OF EVIL was published last year by Penguin and has just been released as an ebook. It is a fascinating account of the evil woman behind one of the most appalling crimes of recent times. Meanwhile GANG WARS ON THE COSTA has just been released in paperback. It exposes the full, bullet riddled story of how Spain's coast lines have become a criminal hinterland for British and other foreign gangsters. GANG WARS ON THE COSTA is a follow-up to my best seller COSTA DEL CRIME.
